He’s held a passion for movies ever since he was in elementary school and studied film appreciation ever since his sophomore year in high school. He’s been published in The Dallas Morning News, The Fort Worth Weekly, The Waxahachie Daily Light, The Midlothian Mirror, The Arlington Voice, The Inquisitr, and Movie Pilot. His favorite movies include science-fiction epics Star Wars and The Terminator, endearing fantasies The Wizard Of Oz and It’s A Wonderful Life, childhood adventures like Toy Story and E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, and heartfelt tragedies such as Schindler’s List and The Passion Of The Christ. His favorite filmmaker is Steven Spielberg.
Besides pursuing a career in film criticism, David has pursued other endeavors including filmmaking, screenwriting, photography, editing, musical composition, and even acting. He also enjoys reading short stories and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications.
